What is a Government Cashier in Jamaica’s Civil Service?
Government Cashiers manage the receipt, custody and processing of public revenues at tax offices, courts, licensing departments, land registries and other revenue-collecting agencies across Jamaica. These are trust positions requiring accuracy, integrity and strong customer service. The FMG/CS series has two grades (CS 1-CS 2).
